BALTIMORE (AP) — Many came for the music. But fans at last night’s concert by Prince in Baltimore also came to hear him make a call to heal a city divided by racial tensions after a black man died in police custody last month. The Baltimore Sun reports Prince did hits like “When Doves Cry” and “Little Red Corvette” — and a new song called “Baltimore.” Musical guests included Estelle, Miguel and rapper Doug E. Fresh. In brief remaks to the audience, Prince urged young people to fix a system he says is “broken.”
