Billy Idol Is Still A Punk
NEW YORK (AP) — Billy Idol thinks it’s “amusing” to look at videos he made in the 1980s. Idol says they were clearly having a lot of fun in those days before computers. He says if the Internet had existed then, he would have loved to release music that way, because that’s what punks would have embraced. Now that the Internet does exist, Idol is still a punk. He says he released a bunch of songs that Capitol Records rejected as a sort of kiss-off to the label.
