The Fishing Partnership Support Services is offering a FREE Basic Safety-at-Sea Training course for commercial fishermen on April 16th from 7:30-3pm. Drill Conductor Training for Vessel Captains operating beyond 3 miles will be offered for FREE all day on April 17th. Coast Guard Certified Fishing Vessel Safety Instructors conduct day-long training in these vital areas: Man-Overboard Procedures, Fire Fighting, Survival Suits, Flooding & Pump Operation, Flares & EPIRBS, Life Raft Equipment, Helicopter Hoist Procedures, and Basic First Aid.
