Here's this morning's challenge question: According to a study out of the Netherlands, published in the Journal of Applied Cognitive Psychology, 14% of people did THIS during a recent shopping trip - and most of them were women. Did what?
It's LOSE THEIR CAR/FORGET WHERE THEY PARKED!
Guilty. And it's always other women who look at me and immediately know what's happened - and offer to help.
Stems from the way we perceive spaces differently - men seem to be inherently better at gauging distances and marking them. It's not that women can't do it - we just don't tend to be as natural at it, so if we're preoccupied on the way in with that pair of Uggs we really really have to pick up for our 15-year old and whether the store will have them in the right color and size... well, we get dostracted a little more easily, I guess...
Jamie got the answer right this morning - and won a $30 gift card to Alberto's Ristorante.
