Apparently, that's when our lungs function best! In addition, our muscles are already "warm" from having been up and around all day, so we're less likely to sprain or strain anything, and that hour allows the maximum benefits for stress relief before bedtime while still giving the body time to get back to a normal base temperature and a normal adrenaline level.
