Nope - it's nothing to do with our lovely Route 6A - that was a coincidental red herring! The answer's SEAT ON AN AIRPLANE!
In a standard coach setup, seat 6A is close to the front (allowing for quick disembarking) and by a window (window seats are desired by 60% of travelers.) And 6 is an even number - apparently that trend showed up in the survey as well! Put all the factors together and seat 6A is the plane's sweet spot. Worst seat on the plane? Try to avoid 31E. It's a middle seat, toward the back, with the longest wait for snacks - and (gasp!) no easy way to access the bathroom.
Took a while, but Coleman, on his way to swim lessons, came up with the right answer - and now he's on his way to New Balance Mashpee with a $30 gift card!
